I am in the process of figuring out what structure to use to create the forms I want. I want the forms to be soft, reminiscent of the human figure or parts of the human figure, and I also want them to have some volume (I want to have 3 from standing next to each other as the final piece). ReplyDeleteThis may be way off from what you had in mind, but your images reminded me of something I saw at the Musée des Arts et Métiers in Paris.

I'm not quite sure what the purpose of them was since the captions were in French, but I think they were a means of measuring angles and understanding perspective.
